South Australian Aquatic Sciences Centre Tour

Visit the South Australian Research and Development Institute’s (SARDI’s), nationally acclaimed, South Australian Aquatic Sciences Centre at West Beach, Adelaide.

This is a purpose-built complex adjacent the sea, housing about 80 freshwater and marine aquaculture, fisheries and environmental research and technical staff and their R&D facilities, and a similar number of Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) aquaculture and fisheries management, policy and regulatory staff. See and hear about SARDI’s RD&E activities on a range of topics, with a focus on their algal and marine biotechnology activities.

A bus will be at the Adelaide Convention Centre at 2.00pm, 6 October 2023 to take attendees to SARDI, West Beach and then return them to the Adelaide Convention Centre at about 5.45pm the same day, it can also drop people at Adelaide Airport on the way back if requested.  The cost for this tour is $41 and payable at the time of booking.

No more than 60 people can be accommodated on this tour,  bookings are essential prior to the day.
